THE POWER OF POSITIVE ANGER

“Why is all this negative stuff in my life?” My client’s eyes glistened with tears.

“You are still angry with your father and that’s creating a vortex of chaotic energy around you,” I responded. “But you can release it.

“How?” she asked. “He’s dead.” The tears were now freefalling.

“His spirit will hear you. When you are free, you also set him free.

The following are ten steps to positively and powerfully expressing our anger:

1. Write two letters. In the first one, give your anger and hurt free rein. Do not send this letter.

2. Take the facts from the first letter and incorporate them into the second.

3. Use the sandwich technique to express your emotions. E.g: Positive: “As my father, you taught me . . . “. Negative: “I felt really hurt when you . . . “Positive: “Thank you for . . . .”

4. Acknowledge your part in the drama.

5. Find the gift in this.

6. If the person is deceased, burn the letter. Ask the deceased spirit, your angels or your God to transform this hurt into a blessing for all concerned . . . or . .

7. Mail the letter with the same intention.

8. Continue releasing attachment to the outcome. The outcome already is.

9. Know that you have done all in your power to heal your pain.

10. You are now free.

“My family has reunited!” my client reported later after burning her letter. “It’s a miracle!”

Not really, I thought. Just the power of positive anger.
