THE BRIGHT LIGHT OF PRAYER

By
Natasha J. Rosewood

As we live through the increasing challenges of these interesting times, our prayers will, perhaps, become more fervent. But how do we pray? Prayers can either be posed as requests to a higher power or . . . a more proactive approach can be to affirm and thank that higher power for already answering that request. Imagining our prayer as a done deal empowers success.

But our prayers are only as powerful as our intentions. When our prayers are spoken—or thought—with strong faith of being answered, our visions make a difference not just to us but also to the Universe. Like impulses of light going out into the ether, we can literally light up our world with prayer and change many outcomes.

My prayers for all of us are that:

* We always follow our intuition.
* We listen to our body and what it needs.
* We keep faith in a beneficent higher power.
* We remain focused on creating and not destroying.
* We continue to access our brilliance through listening to divine guidance.
* We choose to turn adversity into opportunity.
* We remain compassionate with ourselves and others.
* We remember gratitude for what we do have.
* We commit many random acts of kindness
* We allow the child in us to stay alive through playfulness
* We watch funny movies, strengthen our sense of the ridiculous and laugh our way through this movie we call life.

Amen/Awomen.
